Very quirky pub, well worth a visit. Food very good. We had the beef burger enormous! Very long wait but interesting place to walk around, loads of railway memorabilia. Platform right outside the pub, also you can walk along the old track. Many forest walks nearby, not signed too well

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to tafarn sinc today. Would recommend their burgers which are made in house and are perfectly seasoned and so meaty. Best to book ahead as it can get quite busy at peak times. The decor is set oldy world with sawdust on the floor. Plenty to keep your eyes entertained. The staff were so polite and friendly. Can't wait to visit again.

Absolutely love this place, used to come here as a kid with my grandparents so glad it's still going. Lovely inside and a decent size beer garden. You can go for a nice walk along the old railway track after a pint too. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and staff are friendly. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Lots of character, beautiful area but that’s where it ends. We turned up hoping to have a nice meal and a drink, the lady who served us made no effort to make us feel welcome and when we asked if they was still serving food it was though we was asking too much. The food we had was as bland as could be…but then they only offered us scampi, cod, chicken nuggets and chips. Would I go there again, definitely yes but after the quality of food we were served I would think twice before eating there again.

If you’re looking for quirky look no further. What a gem of a pub overlooking the Welsh countryside. Railway and local memorabilia adorn the walls and ceilings, and the station set up outside just adds to its charm! Now owned and run by the community; hats off to them all for saving this lovely pub! Plenty of outside seating. We had the fish and chips (£14 + £3 for chips)and the basket meal of cod bites and chips (£8.50) The classics menu doesn’t come served with chips - you have to pay for them separately. Food was cooked fresh and was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Amazing historical pub with so much character. You can be there for hours just looking at the artifacts and articles about the local community through the ages. The food is amazing being home cooked on site with friendly and accommodating staff too. Several guest ales on offer as well as a large selection of other alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages too. Would highly recommend going out your way to stop here.

We came upon this very traditional Welsh pub by chance. It was a gem of a place. Beautiful traditional decor. Owned by the community. It was lovely to hear Welsh spoken. Respect ✌️✌️👌👌👌 We both had burgers and they were just amazing 🤩
